Happy thanksgiving!!
I am in upstate newyork waiting for the turkey and the rest of the people coming to the vacation house. We will be 26 is total! A fair amount of turkey will be needed, and brussel sprouts and stuffing and soda's etc etc etc. I have loads of pictures from NYC and will try to catch a few frames here upstate as well to share with you once I get back to Seattle and have unpacked my bags.
I need to finish up and pack the computer up because we need the desk that I am using. Have a happy thanksgiving!!

For all of you that do not know where in the world I am (those without facebook). I am in NYC. Stayed a night in Manhattan and walked through centralpark and down broadway to 22nd street again to sleep in a penthouse on the 16th floor. Today I woke up in an upbeat Brooklynd neighbourhood and spent the day touristing here. And had a wonderufl afternoon with dad and Linda. Tonight im going to Manhattan to meet a few friends and drinks. Tomorrow grandcentral station and a broadwayshow. Hopefully if I can get hold of some available seats.

Jag reser över halva vägen och ändå stöter jag på det...
Jag är ju ledig mitt på dagen och hakade på Emma en dag. Första bilden är på amerikansk tång/tong. Liknar dinosaurie inälvor tycker jag.
Jag var i Vancouver en lång helg, men hade för kul för att lägga ner tid på att ta en massa bilder.

Halloween. Det var en läskig parad på barnens skola, och det behövde jag ta bilder på!
Detta är skolans egna robothund
Milo som pirat i gröna grod stövlar. Ett måste!
Dhara är "Thomas the Engine". Alltså Thomas lokomotivet.
Detta hus är inte bara dekorerat för halloween, utan detta är permanent. Amerikaner är bra roliga ibland.
Väggen som i vanliga fall ger insyns skydd. Inte längre.
Grannen några kvarter bort har lyckats göra sin lilla baksida till ett vildlivshabitat. Bevis? Se nedan.
Dessutom har dem ett kiwifrukt liknande träd som växer ut över trottoaren.

When I finally sit down to write a little something on my blog I dont really have enough time or inspiration to tell you the few things that I would like to share with you. Only some.
Its been a couple of tough weeks with crasy longing for home, family and friends. I miss it all and everyone. I might not be the best at keeping in touch but I do really miss everyone. So I've shrivelled up into a miserable pile of Jake with plenty of naps and lousy moods. Last week I decided that thats not who I am and got up, downloaded a training program and some positive medition. Im on my way back to that super duper awesome au pair dude that I really am =)
Halloween was last weekend and was crasy. What else to expect in america? The party that I was going to go to ended up closing up. The girl that was hosting the party was in hospital getting pumped...what a rookie move! I had a great time being the only guy with 8 other aupairs getting ready and downing a few drinks. Emma ended up being a police officer and I was a chessboard. (see Helens blog for more pictures)
Once again I feel like bragging about me going to NYC and Albany for thanksgiving. We had a pre-thanksgiving dinner last night to try out a new course for the dinner. It was awesome and if the dinner would have been finished I would have had not only seconds but fourths and fifths as well. =) It will be great to go somewhere out of Seattle for 10 days. There will be some fun things to do for me over there.
I need to start planing for my vacation in february as well. I will probably go down to California for a week. Hook up with Thom and Sara from Sthlm. Good times to come =) But who knows, maybe some other options will show themselves soon enough.
